Youth Program
The Youth Fair Chance Program’s goal is to teach at-risk youth basic work and life skills that will set them on a path for a successful life.
The program lasts three to six months and is for 18-25 year olds who live in Hamilton County and are not enrolled or completed any higher education.
The program combines work experience with classroom time, instilling life skills and basic job training. Upon successful completion, we assist graduates with outside job placement.
We teach the following life and work skills in our classroom:
- Importance of attitude
- Value of good attendance
- Respecting self and others
- Honesty and humility
- Perils of alcohol, drugs, and smoking
- Budgeting and money skills
- Relationships
- Life Goals
